Nice
October 7—11,
2026
You’re flying, but your bike will travel by car with us, so you avoid handling a bike case and the stress of oversized luggage at the airport. And that’s just the beginning of why joining us on the French Riviera makes perfect sense. Staying in apartments with fully equipped kitchens, enjoying a shared dinner at a local restaurant, receiving a roadbook with detailed route information, having experienced guides, and a support vehicle packed with refreshments — the list goes on. See for yourself.
Cycling
Cycling around Nice hardly needs a long introduction — we all know the breathtaking shots from the Tour de France and Ironman. Lance Armstrong even claimed that the south of France has the best cycling in the world. Nice lies at the foothills of the Alps, so you can imagine what that means — one breathtaking climb after another. Views, baguettes, croissants. And we will never get enough of it.

Come with us.
Just send Radka a message:
How fit do I need to be if I want to join you in Nice?
We head out every day in three groups that differ not only in average speed, but also in distance and overall vibe. It’s entirely up to you whether you join the performance group that tears up the tarmac, or the connoisseurs who already have plenty of miles in their legs this year and care more about scenic views and top-tier coffee culture than chasing watts

The climbs we’ll conquer (a hand-picked selection):
Col d'Éze
Col de la Madone
Mont Chauve
Tanneron (Le Grand Duc)
Col de l'Ecre
In the 2026 season, we’re leaving Girona, which we praised for its coffee culture, but heading to Nice instead—and the situation there for coffee-loving cyclists is just as good, if not better. There’s definitely a lot to look forward to.

Nice-Eze-Madone
The first day may be short, but it’s intense. Sixty-nine kilometres and 1,700 metres of elevation speak for themselves. We’ll warm up with two climbs — Col d’Èze and Col de la Madone, Lance Armstrong’s favourite training hill. A perfect combination to get the legs spinning on day one.
Le Grand Duc
On the second day, we’ll take in the views. The first 50 km follow the coastline, but then comes a wall of a climb called Le Gran Duc — a hill where everyone goes to test themselves. Over just 5 kilometers we’ll gain nearly 500 meters of elevation. Then we drop almost back to zero before spending the rest of the day going up and down. By the time we reach the finish, our computers should show around 130 km and 1,800 meters of climbing
Grasse a Col de l'Ecre
On Saturday, we’ll ride through the village of Peillon, proudly ranked among the most beautiful in all of France. Then we’ll see Grasse, the capital of perfume production. The climb to Col de l’Ecre will take us above 1,000 meters above sea level. In total, we’ll cover 120 km and 1,860 meters of elevation gain.
Mont Chauve
The final ride serves up 34 km and a pleasant 860 meters of climbing. It’s the traditional KOA farewell ride to the closest mountain in the area. At the top, we’ll be rewarded with a stunning view of Nice and get a chance to reflect on the whole trip before we pack up the bikes and head home. The bikes, of course, travel back to Prague in the KOA van with the KOA team.
